Alex's 21st

On Columbus Day weekend we took Alex on a quick overnight trip to Vegas for his first "legal" time there. We had a lot of fun, even though we were only there for a short time. One of my favorite times was when we all rode the roller coaster at State line. That thing was crazy!!!!

It's been too long.

It's been a long time since I have posted to my blog. So much has happened! First of all, I moved to Orange with Justin, and Lola was given away to a new owner =( but honestly... life really couldn't be better. Other then giving up Lola, everything has been great. Right now I am in Carl Junction, Missouri visiting my mom. It is so great to see her and be able to spend time with her. It's almost like no time has passed at all. It is really beautiful here, very peaceful and quiet.

Tonight is the end of the first official day we have been here. Yesterday, my Grandma and I traveled all day to get here, so today was the first official day we got to spend with everyone. I got up early this morning, and my Mom, myself, and my Grandma all went to Bob Evans and ate breakfast. After that we did some shopping at Academy (a sporting goods store with lots of cool affordable stuff!!!) and went to where my mom works, a casino called The Downstream.

The Downstream is really nice, and has something I love..... lots of penny machines!!! =) We spent a few hours there and it really was fun. I loved playing a machine that had a dolphin theme (i won 18 bucks! on a penny machine!!) and several other cool themed ones. I have posted a few photos from my phone so everyone can see what I am talking about. One is of the outside of the Downstream, with it's big hotel tower. Another is me, very tired this morning. Then, there is a machine i played called the Jade Elephant. We love elephants! and of course, a picture of my Mom's two dogs, Duke and Daisy.

When I was younger, I really liked beads and making my own jewelry. Recently, I have gotten back into beading and have learned a few other new hobbies. I was messing around with my beads tonight and made this bracelet. It has gold and pink beads and is made really easily with some stretchy string and 3 different strands. =D

After the Zoo, we went to Griffith Observatory. Beautiful!!!

Today Justin and I went and spent the day in L.A. The Zoo was really fun.... but Billy the elephant wasn't able to be seen...they are making his habitat larger! here are a few pictures from our few hours there. =D

For those of you who haven't met her, this is Lola. I got her for Christmas from Justin when she was 12 weeks. Don't let her fool you, she is no dummy. Lola likes to eat.....EVERYTHING. Some of her favorites include anything that she can get her paws on... mac n cheese, carnitas, goldfish crackers, chicken noodle soup, rice, cous cous, and her favorite...string cheese. I think Lola may be part Siamese.... she won't shut up!

This week at work was a tough one. I have an amazing boyfriend who knows how to cheer me up. This was sent to me on Tuesday, which was one of the worst little turbulent work days. Aren't they beautiful? Definitely the highlight of my week... (other then seeing him of course) =D

For a while I have been thinking about starting a blog. I don't really have much to say, and I am not comfortable with getting all personal right away... so I thought I would start a picture blog. I take a lot of photos (usually from my phone) and wanted to post them here so the people in my life can see what I am up to. So...enjoy =D
